Patient / Attendant Rules & Regulations
To maintain a safe, hygienic, disciplined, and comfortable environment for all patients, the following rules must be strictly followed.

Admission & Registration
- Every patient must complete the hospital admission/registration formalities before receiving inpatient services.
- Patients/attendants must provide correct and complete information and required documents.
- Patients must keep their admission documents, ID proof, prescriptions, and medical records safely.

Billing & Payment
- All hospital bills must be cleared as per the hospital's payment policy.
- Advance/payment requirements communicated by the hospital must be followed.
- Patients/attendants should collect proper receipts for all payments.
- Any billing-related clarification should be discussed with the Billing/Accounts Department.

Attendants & Visitors
- Only permitted attendants should stay with the patient.
- Visitors must follow hospital visiting hours and staff instructions.
- Unnecessary crowding around the patient is strictly discouraged.
- Children should not be brought into restricted clinical areas unless necessary.

Discipline & Behaviour
- Patients and attendants must maintain respectful and appropriate behaviour with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
- Abusive language, threats, physical aggression, or misbehaviour will not be tolerated.
- Any concern or complaint should be reported to the Floor Manager/Management instead of creating a disturbance.

Hygiene & Cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness inside patient rooms, wards, corridors, and common areas.
- Do not throw waste anywhere except designated dustbins.
- Spitting or damaging hospital property is strictly prohibited.
- Food should not be taken into restricted clinical areas.

Smoking, Tobacco & Alcohol
- Smoking, tobacco, gutkha, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited inside the hospital premises.
- Any violation may lead to appropriate action as per hospital policy.

Patient Safety
- Patients should not leave the hospital/ward without informing the concerned nurse or doctor.
- Attendants must follow medical and nursing instructions.
- Do not handle medical equipment, oxygen systems, monitors, or other hospital equipment without permission.
- Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode in clinical areas.

Medical Treatment
- Patients/attendants must cooperate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Medicines brought from outside should be disclosed to the treating doctor.
- Any refusal of treatment, investigation, procedure, or discharge against medical advice must follow the hospital's prescribed process.

Privacy & Photography
- Photography, video recording, or audio recording of other patients, staff, or restricted areas is not permitted without appropriate permission.
- Patient privacy and confidentiality must be respected.

Hospital Property
- Any damage to hospital property, equipment, furniture, or other assets may be chargeable to the responsible patient/attendant as per hospital policy.

Emergency & Safety Instructions
- In case of an emergency, immediately inform the nearest hospital staff.
- Do not crowd emergency areas, ICU, OT, or other restricted zones.
- Follow all safety and evacuation instructions issued by hospital staff.

Complaints & Suggestions
- For any complaint, concern, or suggestion, contact the Floor Manager / Front Office / Hospital Management.
- We will make every effort to resolve genuine concerns promptly.
Important Notice
The hospital reserves the right to take appropriate action against any patient or attendant who violates hospital rules, creates disturbance, threatens staff, damages hospital property, or compromises the safety and discipline of the hospital.
